How to get there
The nearest train station to Macdonald Forest Hills is in Balloch, approximately 20 miles away. Trains are available from across the UK, though you'll probably have to change in Glasgow. Glasgow Airport is just under an hour's drive away.

Just six miles away lies Ben Lomond, the southernmost of the Munro mountains - for the more adventurous, it's approximately a five-hour climb to the top. There are also excellent kayaking and water sports opportunities on Loch Lomond at the mountain's base, plus a number of championship golf courses in the area for you to tee off in.
