Escape to a classic French hotel in the centre of Obernai, on the Alsace Wine Route – includes breakfast and more
-
Tradition with a modern twist: In the beautiful medieval town of Obernai, you'll find Hotel La Diligence – an elegant French boutique hotel. The exterior's authentic Norman-styled exposed wooden beams and half timbered elements make for a traditional fairytale-esque setting, while the recently refurbished interior lends itself towards a more modern and chic experience. It's the perfect base from which to explore the region’s wineries.
-
Beautiful breakfasts: A beautiful French breakfast is served daily, with fresh pastries, cheeses, charcuterie, and coffee. Then there's Le Comptoir, the all-new gourmet space with fantastic views onto the square outside. Expect a friendly and light atmosphere, with local and seasonal produce used to make superb light bites throughout the day, as well as classic Alsace pastries.
-
Characterful town: An Alsace town that has truly retained its traditional character and charm, with medieval defenses, fortified towers and half-timbered houses, Obernai is a hidden treasure trove of delights. The town centre, just a few minutes walk from the hotel, is as picturesque as old towns come, with many fantastic French restaurants to sample local delicacies, like Kugelhopf (a traditional Alsace cake), or meats and sausages unique to the region. It goes without saying, there's plenty of local wine to satisfy all tastes.

Obernai
The 170-kilometre long Alsace Wine Route is the oldest in France, and full of some of the country’s most exquisite wines. The trail is made up of 70 typically colourful Alsatian winegrowing villages, where some 1,000 producers of wine are ready to welcome you in with a glass of their vino, and teach you a bit about the wine-making process.
