The hotel is located on the Cornwall coast, overlooking Housel Bay. We recommend driving so you can travel at your own pace, taking in the stunning scenery as you go.
Good to know
Please note, the hotel is in very close proximity to the Lizard Lighthouse landmark, which is operational. However, please note that it has no control over the intensity of its light and under certain weather conditions, the fog horn may additionally sound. Earplugs are available on request at reception.

The site on which Housel Bay was built was chosen because of its fabulous views over the sea, so from just about everywhere in the hotel, you can gaze at the waves breaking on the shore. Situated close to Lizard Point, the southernmost point in the UK, this is a wonderfully dramatic location. Visit nearby Lizard Village for Cornish country charm, spot the historic lighthouse and explore the pretty surrounding towns and villages.
The Cornish coast is also a great place to go walking: the South West Coastal Path runs through the hotel gardens, while the picturesque fishing village of Cadgwith Cove and the epic Kynance Cove are also nearby for more wonderful exploring. Nature-lovers will enjoy spotting Atlantic seals, rare sea birds and wild ponies on their coastal walks, while active types can partake in diving, golfing, fishing, yoga, swimming and surfing. If you'd rather do nothing at all, there are some rather nice beaches nearby for you to put your feet up and relax.
