Pods are individually designed with a modern and cosy feel, with pops of bright colour and solid wood furnishings and fittings. You can expect a large rainfall shower, plus kitchenette facilities for those nights when you fancy a quiet meal in.
How to get there
The hotel is 20 minutes west of Kendal, and roughly a 20-minute drive off the M6. The closest train station is Windermere, 15 minutes away by car.

Entry requirements

Westmorland and Furness
Here in the lush Winster Valley, you’re just a five-minute drive from Lake Windermere, the largest lake in England. All around its shores you’ll find ample opportunity for peaceful and picturesque walks, whether you opt to amble aimlessly through pretty Ambleside at the north end of the lake, or explore the National Trust’s scenic Fell Foot Park to the south. The more intrepid can head for the hills - ascend Wansfell Pike for stunning views across Windermere, or trek Helvellyn for a real challenge. If you want to get the highest peak in England under your belt, Scafell Pike is just 45 minutes away by car.
For a touch of culture, Blackwell is moments away; this Grade-I listed 20th century gem is one of the finest examples of Arts & Crafts architecture in the country, and regularly shows art and photography exhibitions that will capture your imagination. More of a literary buff? Catch the ferry across the lake and drive to Hill Top, Beatrix Potter’s rural farmhouse, then travel on for five minutes to Hawkshead, where the old grammar school of William Wordsworth gives a glimpse into school life between 1585 and 1909 (both open seasonally).
